This Sunday, 20th November 2022, sees the annual Boldmere Christmas Festival and Lights Switch On and our very own Commuity Games ambassador Kevin Brown will have the honour of switching on the lights.

Kevin Brown is an internationally acclaimed athlete with a long list of achievements on his sporting CV, including four time World Discuss Champion. You can read more about Kevin here on our Games Ambassadors page.

But that’s not all, we’re delighted to announce that we will be at the Boldmere Chritsmas Festival and Lights Switch On so come and find us and take part in our Bean Bag Challenge, check out our Buddy themed Christmas gifts (including our NEW Buddy 8” plush toys) and say hi to Buddy himself!!

With over 55 stalls, entertainment, street food, hot and cold drinks, the Boldmere Christmas Festival and Lights Switch on will take place along Boldmere Road on Sunday 20th November from 1pm to 6pm with the lights switch on at approximately 5:20pm. There will be a quiet area available at Boldmere Methodist Church where they will also be serving mince pies. The organisors have advised that the event is not suitable for dogs or people who experience difficulties with larges crowds.

A donation of £5 per family or £2 for adults and £1 for children is requested to help fund the event.
