Sutton Coldfield Accessible Community Games Returns this April

Friday 14th April will see the return of the Sutton Coldfield Accessible Community Games at the BMET College, Sutton Coldfield.

The event is being organised and delivered by the team behind the highly successful Sutton Coldfield Community Games, now in its 11th year.

Dennis Kennedy and his Community Games team of volunteers will deliver this specialised accessible event for children and adults with learning, physical and sensory needs – providing them opportunities to try a range of sporting activities. Over 200 visitors are expected to attend throughout the day, where they will be able to experience 25 different sporting activities.

Dennis Kennedy is the founder of the Community Games and the driving force behind the return of this event for the third year. Dennis said:

“We are genuinely thrilled to be delivering this event again this year. It is always so wonderful to see so many smiles everywhere, with people visiting having a great time. The providers themselves always do an exceptional job at giving everyone a taste of their sport. I couldn’t be more excited for what will be our third Sutton Coldfield Accessible Games this year.”

With both the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Mayor and Birmingham Lord Mayor both in attendance it is undoubtedly going to be an enjoyable day for all.

The Community Games timetable is packed with many more Community Games events this summer for all to attend. For more information about other Community Games events and booking tickets pop on over to our Home page.
