Community Games Announces New BMet College Partnership to Promote Healthy Living

BMet College and the Inspire Activity are pleased to announce a new partnership to promote healthy living and sports education in the local community.

As part of the partnership, BMet College has become a Gold Sponsor of all Community Games events this year.

Community Games events bring together families and local sports providers to participate in sports and activities, inspiring healthy living, and physical activity. With BMet College’s support, the Community Games can continue to grow and develop their events, providing even more opportunities for families to participate in sports and lead a healthier lifestyle.

“We are excited to partner with the Community Games to promote healthy living and sports education in the local community,” said Jason Allen, Director Business, Professional Services, Sports, and Apprenticeships of BMet College.

“At BMet, we are committed to providing our students with the best possible education and training opportunities in the sports sector, and the Community Games offers an excellent platform for our students to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact in the community. We are proud to support the Community Games as a Gold Sponsor and look forward to working together to make a real difference in the local community.”

The partnership between BMet and the Community Games has already produced encouraging outcomes. The college’s student and staff have volunteered as activity providers at Community Games events, contributing to the event’s successful execution and ensuring enjoyment for all visitors.

Furthermore, this forward-looking collaboration aims to facilitate entry points into the sports industry, as present and upcoming students of BMET College will acquire valuable skills through volunteering and understand the significance of working in this field. The BMET Sports Department are also looking for the future generation of Sports Coaches and have a new attractive course Level 4 Higher Technical Qualification in Community Coaching.

“We are delighted to partner with BMet College to promote healthy living and sports education in the local community,” said Dennis Kennedy, Inspire Activity Director and founder of the Community Games.

“Their support as a Gold Sponsor will help us to continue to provide a platform for local sports providers to showcase their talents, and encourage more people to participate in sports and activities. We are grateful for the support they have given our Community Games and we look forward to working with BMET College to make our events bigger and better than ever.”

The partnership between BMet and the Community Games demonstrates a shared commitment to promoting healthy living and sports education in the local community. Through joint initiatives, the partnership aims to make a positive impact and inspire more people to lead an active lifestyle.
